Closing dates slip, new leases don’t line up with move-out dates, and sometimes the gap between one place and the next is two weeks instead of zero. Cardinal Moving stores short-term loads in our own warehouse on Woodbridge Avenue in Edison — not a subleased unit at a public storage facility across the county line that a different company’s truck has to drive to. Whatever the crew loads at your old address goes straight into our building, and the same crew pulls it back out when the new place is ready.
Storage is priced flat rather than by the cubic foot or by a rented-unit tier, so you know the number before anything goes into the warehouse. It’s built for the short gap — days to a few weeks — between move-out and move-in, not long-term storage measured in months, and we’ll tell you honestly if your timeline is better served by a different arrangement.
Because it’s our building, there’s no separate hand-off to a storage company’s staff and no re-inventory by people who didn’t load the truck in the first place. What goes in is what comes out, moved by the same crew both times.

What This Service Runs
Crew size sets your hourly rate — $135/hr for two movers, $175/hr for three, $215/hr for four — or if you'd rather have a firm number before move day, Darnell can walk the place first and write one up
That hourly rate covers the truck, dollies, furniture pads, and shrink wrap — nothing billed separately: $135 for two movers, $175 for three, $215 for four, and $45/hr for each mover beyond that. A $150 deposit holds your date and comes straight off the final invoice. Basic released-value protection rides along at no charge on every job, and Renee will walk you through full-value coverage when she books your date if the higher payout ceiling is worth it to you.
