A lot of moving companies subcontract packing to a separate crew that shows up a day or two before the movers, wraps everything in generic paper, and leaves without ever touching the truck. Cardinal Moving doesn’t split the job that way. The same crew that packs your kitchen and closets is the crew that loads the truck and carries everything into the new place — which means the person taping a box labeled “fragile, top shelf, bedroom” is the same person deciding where it sits on the truck and who carries it in.
We do full packs, where the crew wraps the entire house, and partial packs, where you handle the everyday stuff and we take the kitchen, the garage, and anything fragile or awkward — art, mirrors, glassware, electronics. Packing can run the day before the move or the morning of, depending on the schedule set when you book; either way, Darnell prices it at the walkthrough based on what’s actually in the rooms, not a generic room count.
Materials are included in the packing estimate — boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, wardrobe boxes for closets, and mattress bags — so there’s no separate materials invoice showing up after the fact.

What This Service Runs
Crew size sets your hourly rate — $135/hr for two movers, $175/hr for three, $215/hr for four — or if you'd rather have a firm number before move day, Darnell can walk the place first and write one up
That hourly rate covers the truck, dollies, furniture pads, and shrink wrap — nothing billed separately: $135 for two movers, $175 for three, $215 for four, and $45/hr for each mover beyond that. A $150 deposit holds your date and comes straight off the final invoice. Basic released-value protection rides along at no charge on every job, and Renee will walk you through full-value coverage when she books your date if the higher payout ceiling is worth it to you.
